If you have been using an online dating service and have met someone that doesn’t speak your language, but you have been using a text translator, then you may have some trouble meeting in real life. However, if you keep it simple you should be fine. As ‘they’ say, love is a language of its own. It wouldn’t hurt to brush up on their language some, maybe get a dictionary or a translation device of some kind. If it is meant to be, then you will figure something out.
This probably doesn’t happen that often, but if you are one of the rare couples that can’t communicate using language, then you should be creative. Perhaps you could hire a translator or bring a friend along. Make light of the situation. If you two really want to be together, then maybe one of you could learn the other’s native tongue.
One clever couple simply used their mobile phones and used the translator on the web to communicate in person. It’s a really cute idea and it works out just fine. Don’t give up on the relationship just because of something as silly as not being able to understand one another.
